Istinto Create endless finishes with Istinto, whether smooth or textured. Easy to apply, Istinto can be used for textured finishes such as pitted, dragged and travertine marble and further enhanced with metallic washes and waxes. To choose the colour you require, you will need to buy the colour pigment separately, as the base material is a natural white. In the Colour Charts you will see the pigments identified by a two-letter code with four variations of tone. These tones are made by adding the pigment in ratio to the base material, click to see Formulas. These formulas are simplified to enable you to mix the colour on site and to add as much as you need depending on how many kilos of base material you have and correspond to the Colour Charts. Composed of lime, marble dust and natural minerals, Istinto allows the walls to breathe and is naturally resistant to mould and bacteria. Enhance Istinto by choosing from our wide range of 169 colours allowing your creativity to create a unique finish. Find out more about Estasi di Marmo and other beautiful marble finishes created with Istinto. We recommend using Polished Plaster Primer Naturale to provide a good adhesion to the wall ready for Istinto. Finish it with Cera del Vecchio or Cera D'Api to deepen the colour and to achieve further protection and to increase both sheen and water resistance. Using Istinto to create Pietra Spaccata, you can also use Cristalli Oro or Cristalli Argento to give you gold and silver highlights.
